Layers of Protection: Advice from the Experts

The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) recommends these layers of protection:

  1. Common Sense
Park in a safe, well-lighted place, keep valuable contents out of plain sight, lock your doors and take your keys.
  2. Warning Device
A new Avital® system will provide multiple layers of protection as a warning device (with audible alarm, warning stickers on your windows, and bright blue flashing LED).
  3. Immobilizing Device
Every Avital® system comes with Failsafe Starter Kill, which is an immobilizer designed to prevent hot-wiring.
